To all the ladies out there. My wife would like a recommendation of a hairdresser who can cut naturally curly "gringa" hair. Preferably someplace accesable by bus.
I have lived in Cancun for 12 yers and would ONLY have my hair cut by Jacques Benchemal at the Plaza Jadelle. It is on Av. Bonampk, right across the street from Pemex and SuperRama. I have curly gringa hair too and he's the guy for me! He's originlly from Montreal, Canada and is excellent and very professional! Phone:884-9928.
Thanks Cancun Nurse Thanks for the info. Do you know which bus goes by that location? We don't know where that is. We've been to Soriana and Home Depot, Walmart, and Plaza Las Americas but haven't paid attention to street names as the bus driver calls it out.
My wife's aunties own an excellent beauty shop in Lombardo Toledano and it's probably much much cheaper than Jadelle if your concerned about cost at all, they can do almost everything but can't speak very good English if your Spanish isn't excellent? LMK if you need directions, they are very nice and they seem to have all the latest products in the shop but mainly Wella, if that makes a difference? I'm not an expert!
I've been going to the Adrian Pereyra Salon located on Avenida Labna, and Calle Antilope 998-892-4840. I see Damian (Adrians' nephew), and he is amazing. I would recommend him to anyone. Actually, he is one of the best colourists I've ever had, and does an amazing cut. A few friends and family members go there as well.... ALL happy customers. Good luck
