Hoping to compile a list of the best "hacks" that you've come up with for dealing with some of the "shortcomings" of the renovated Temptations. I've seen BYO shower curtains to deal with the shower splashing water onto the bedroom floor, red cellophone to cover the lights around the beds, disconnecting the porch light, etc. Those seem helpful. More like that? What about cheap inflatable air mattress so you can have somewhere to lie on your stomach on the pool deck? A folded up towel to sit on to avoid bruises on the new chairs? Someone mentioned bringing along an air freshener to cover up an bad smells coming from your room ("sewer smell")? It's all helpful. Thanks!

We were fortunate enough not to have any of the issues you mentioned in the room - no smells, water pretty much stayed in the shower, and the bathroom and shower floors are not slippery at all - at least they weren’t in our room. We put a towel on the floor, like you do at any hotel, just outside the shower to step on to when getting out of the shower, and it was all good.
For the hacks, I would suggest getting those things you put on the bottom of your shoes to make them more grippy. My wife put those on all of her high heeled shoes and it was definitely worth it, as some of the areas are definitely slippery inside. I think the worst part is definitely the black stairs leading down from the lobby in to the buffet, and the floors in the buffet are super slick.
I saw someone mention they brought some suction cup hooks to hang up your wet bathing suits in the shower area to dry which was a good idea. We put ours out on the balcony to dry, but since the main window shade opens automatically when you slide open the balcony door, it was a pain sometimes if you were trying to get it when your partner is still sleeping.
Counter space was extremely limited in the bathroom in our room (we were in the trendy garden view) and it was constantly taken up by Shelly’s makeup :) so probably woldn’t hurt to bring something you can hang with pockets or organizers to hold the makeup or other toiletries to keep the counter freed up a bit.

I got this for our last Vegas trip to carry around my money and ID in my pocket when at the pool. It’s small and would work well for carrying around tip money and keeping it dry.

I’m going to bring something like this for the bathroom door.. I also found that there was not enough counter space so this would be a great spot to put contact lens solution, hairspray, detangler etc etc.... oh and a couple of suction hooks to hang up wet bottoms. There was one in our bathroom but I could’ve used five more lol

Suction cup hooks are a great idea, there are NO hooks anywhere in the shower or bathroom to even hang up towels. Maybe a detail they will be installing..

Anyone have a remedy for solving the sewer gas smell that can come up through shower drain? (Other than asking for a new room)

We bring 2 of these to clip on the air conditioner outlet, within an hour or so all odors are masked! They last a couple of weeks so the people after you appreciate it as well.
