Dumbbells up to about 40lbs. A free standing bench. Smith machine. EZ curl bars up to about 40. Incline Press Machine. Fly Machine. About 3 treadmills. a couple of incumbent bikes. Some Bosu Balls. I've ordered the equipment by usefulness too if that helps
I have read some complaints, and I can see what people are saying, but I personally had no problem with it. The treadmills work for a good run, and there are several free weights in a decent range. That, and some space, are all I ever need if I am trying to get a half decent workout on vacation. If you’re a machine person, and go at a time that several other people are there, then it could get annoying. I am never really trying to get a full blown workout in though. One day it was even suggested I leave because still seemed way too drunk. I agreed and walked away in shame to change as quick as I could and get in the sexy pool where I belonged.
Some barbells, a squat rack and a lifting platform would go a long way. Maybe a bucket of chalk. lol. Probably asking too much on that one.
The gym is one of the only complaints I had.I was not impressed with the gym at TTR at all. It was ok for a quick work out, but I also think some of the complaints come from those who use " the gym sucks" as an excuse to get back to the sexy pool !
The gym is good for a quick workout. The treadmill and the elliptical work good. If you like to run, there is a walking trail outside as well.
Thank u. I. More of a weight lifter. I'll prob make do with the dumbbells, bench and machines. Need to keep the jiggle off from all the drinking. Do they do water aerobics? Maybe we can do squats by the pool, need to get my 300 in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Yep, they do water aerobics or cardio splash 2-3 times a week. We did it on our last visit and you can do most of it with a beer in your hand :ernaehrung005: cardio splash is far from an actual workout, but it does get the heart rate up a little and it was a lot of fun.
They have a smith machine for squats..my husband is more of a weight lifter as well and he makes do with what's there. It's not the best hotel gym but not the worst either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
