We are planning on a few days at Desire Pearl (Feb 19-23) however we were only able to secure an actual room for 21-23 because of availability. We do have access to guest passes with friends already staying there for the week....my question is, does anyone know if your guest pass allows you to eat & drink and the resort? Are you entitled to the full resort and all it's amenities with a guest pass? Any additional information would be helpful. Thanks Laura & Scott
If you are already staying at one of the two Desire properties you can get a pass to visit the other one for a day or evening ($150 USD per couple or sit thru the membership pitch and get one free coupon) Otherwise there are no guest passes to either Desire property.
Thanks for the message. I did read on their website that your right, day passes are not available however registered Desire guests may invite other couples to join them...meaning a registered guest could request a pass for guests. It showed $200 couple from 8am-6pm or $200 from 6PM - 2AM or $400/couple from 8AM - 2AM. It just doesn't say what amenities are available for this pass.
You must be reading a very old version of a lookalike website that is from a Travel Agent and not the official Desire site - what you quoted was discontinued in 2009. Well they must of restarted it. And we found it on their website in October. Didn't search for it now. We had a guest visit on a guest pass at pearl. They quoted us the price you stated. We negotiated it down to $150 total for the day and night but I don't think this is typical (we got to know a lot of people there). They were allowed to eat and drink anything they wanted. No restrictions
Damn. You are right wayne. I found where we saw it... Desire Pearl Not the hotel site. It is actually a travel site with an old faq. However, they did give us the deal in October. I love that they are willing to bend the rules to keep guests happy.
Of course all the info you find on the net must be true - lol Yep, there are plenty of lookalike sites for TTR and Desire out there - if your looking for accurate information, make sure you always find their "official" sites.

Jen and Kyle...you two are hard core negotiators. I read your LONG trip report from last year and completely loved it. The suspense was killing me regarding your pictures negotiations. Good job. Absolutely great information. Feb 2015 will be our first visit to Desire Pearl so it was way helpful to read up on your sultry and steamy week adventure. We missed the boat about booking early (will never make that mistake again) so I'll think we'll try to see if we can get a guest pass if being on the cancelation list doesn't work out.
