Groups of Under Age Males (Reason Enough for Couples Only)

Just got back from TTR on the 29th March.Second trip there and had a great time for the most part.
Most of our days were spent at the sexy pool with friends from last year and some new from this year. All great people.

Quiet Pool??

On the two days when we needed to recoup LOL at the quiet pool we found that it had been unindated with a large group of 21ish males from the UK.
They seemed to think that bringing out an Ipod docking station and playing the same music that the sexy pool was playing very loud and throwing drinks at each other at LuLu's bar was just fine.When a friend of ours asked them to turn down the music they would not, so we asked security to. When security said they should go the sexy pool they said they didn't like the sexy pool and they were staying there.Security moved them down to the beach.
This happened twice.

Underaged Males

Thanks Katie for the glowsticks .We decided to get a group pic done in the lobby.
While the pic was being taken we noticed two young lads from the quiet pool were watching,and when I mean young I mean young.
When we were done I inquired about were they were from and how old they were.The boys were from the UK, London and for some reason one of them, obviously drunk, handed me his passport so I looked at when he was born the date was May 28th 1992 putting at not even 20 yet. When I told him this was an adult resort and he needed to be 21+ he laughed and said that the resort never checks and that this is his second trip to TTR.

On check-out I mentioned this to the front desk and they seemed shocked and they said they would look into it. We dont think they will.
On the comment cards most of our group mentioned the amount of single groups of young men at the resort and the problems with them.
And the under age males.

Ok here's the thing we love going to TTR but now Jo and I are now seriously debating if we will be going back .I just wish that the resort would make up its mind WRT letting in large groups of single young men in.

A couples resort would be nice but it will never happen.
We know there are other couples resorts but we dont want to go to Desires. Or a clothing optinal resorts.

We were there on these dates as well - and YES the young boys were annoying at the very least. I was also questioning their age! They were rude, drunk and obnoxious. Thankfully they arived nearing the end of our stay.

We still very much enjoyed our first trip to Temptation and have already discussed a return trip in a couple of years. Next time however we will spend way more time at the sexy pool so we can meet more people and of course do the Boobs Cruise again (highlight of our trip)

 

I can tell you that the staff around the pools and bars are eagerly awaiting them leaving too!

This is now at least two years in a row that a large group of single "boys" have come to the hotel during the March/April timeframe and made asses of themselves and ruined vacations for others.

It's about time that TTR grew a pair and went back to the companies sending them and tell them next time they do that they will not be allowed to sell TTR in the future!

It's not like the hotel isn't overbooked and farming people out. Even if they let them in, at the second time, we'll give every one their first mistake, Security has to excort them to their rooms for fights or disturbing the peace through throwing drinks, yelling at the bartenders or assulting other guests, it is to pack their bags and make room for the folks being bumped to other hotels!

And yeah I've heard the excuse that once security arrives, they can't identify which of the 20 were actually causing the problem. Well if you can assign 2 fulltime security guards to watch the adults in April and May, you can do the same for the boys of March and April!.

Come on folks! Are you an adult hotel or a babysitter?

Don't they copy passports upon check in?
They should check ages then and not even let them check in otherwise.

 

When we checked in they only looked a mine since I booked the stay they did not copy it just a quick glance.

 

There was an 18 year old girl there with her mom last time I was there. She said that the desk never checked her passport.

 

I understand your reasoning but as a single female I would be very disappointed if TTR went to couples only. I just hope that these young groups of men don't continue to cause disruptions and tarnish people's vacations.

IMHO there will always be groups there and everyone knows that during Spring break (March usually) the hotels are full of groups not just TTR.. I think that there are less of them in April, and as it get to May, even less.. unfortunatly its the time of year.
but I do agree, they should be checking age!

 

Good thing I am coming back in a couple of weeks... Sounds like I need to give the bell curve a nudge back towards awesome from creepy for us single guys!
