Well people, with all the mess between Oasis / Be Live with the "Grand Oasis", I couldn't book there because it was no longer available. I even tried calling them to the number that Nuno gave me but they weren't taking reservations there, so I just booked my stay there at the Grand Viva Beach. From what I've seen it looks like a pretty place, I also read it had a bar lobby (that's where the crowd goes at night) and also entertainment people selling wristbands to the clubs, so pretty got myself covered there.

Since I'm traveling alone, the whole march I'll be staying there and would be nice to hook up with somebody if you are also staying.

Let me know guys and have a nice trip!! :ernaehrung005:

From my recollection no one on here is staying there, it is not too late to try and switch to grand oasis it is available now. I think viva is situated near the clubs which means it will be near the krystal which is where most people will probably be in the day on the beach. You might also be able to access oasis cancun free.

As we see recently in the Oasis story, the Grand Viva Beach (actually Be Live Grand Viva Beach) and Grand Oasis Cancun are not runned by the same management, and I don't think a change will be possible.

I might spend my first week at this hotel (from 3 to 10 th March).

Damn, from what I've read in some other places, they said that some people would be staying there, maybe not from this forum.

I don't think a change would be possible neither, specially since they are operated by different vendors. In any case, I like that it's from walking distance to the clubs, that's where I'm at my best! During the day, I like to enjoy the beach peacefully :mermaid:

So larson, are you staying there man? I've heard that the hotel is a "mini" Oasis in that it's not fully crowded and you can get to eat & drink easily without huge queues.

Last time I went in november, after the swine flu epidemic, it was pretty empty but still there were a lot of party people around, so it was pretty fine! I hope to be it at least like that :)

I stayed there last year and enjoyed it. We had a pretty good crowd of spring breakers and the location is right by the clubs (5 min walk). We were also able to access any of the oasis properties if we wanted.
