Hi anybody wanting a good deal to Oasis Sens try skyauction.com Now until November 1st you can get it for a little over a hundred bucks a night Total not per person. Used them before for our first and second tin to TTR paid a little over $600 for a week each time.Loading… http://www.skyauction.com/action/offer/2664458
That sounds awesome. I just looked at the site and I have to wonder though, can you pick your dates before you buy? We couldn't change our flights when TTR announced the reno so we ate locked in for our dates. If I bid and win, will I get the dates I NEED or is it only for what's available? Old enough to know better, too young to care
You buy and submit your dates 99% of the time your good. If dates are not open you will not be charged anything.
Hate hate hate sky auction: had a horrible experience several years ago. We submitted our dates and waited and waited and waited and waited for months. Meanwhile prices went up and up. Took months to get an answer. Didn't respond to emails. Eventually they said sorry not available. We were forced to book air before hearing back as it took months and the air went up. Then when sky auction said TTR was not available we found it available on every other site possible but of course at higher prices. Definitely not worth the hassle.
It worked out great for us won the auction told them our dates and by the next day we had confirmation of our reservations. Never had a problem used them 3 times once for Grand oasis and two times for TTR. But no matter who you use people will always have complaints. Sorry it didn't work out for you.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how are such low prices possible? Seems too good to be true. How do resorts make money if a week is selling for only a few hundred dollars ?
It is all about availability. Look at one of the online review sites like ripoff report and you will see that others who ask for busy or even slightly busy times don't get the rooms. I can only assume that we picked a time where there wasn't a ton of availability (February). What was frustrating was there was availability on every site we looked at but I guess just not at the rate for which it worked for sky auction to allow our redemption. So sure it works for some but the reality is they can say sorry no deal even after you win the auction and even though the dates are included in the applicable redemption window. So the rooms the do end up giving away at reduced rates are rooms that likely would otherwise be empty. Lots of added fees too but it does come out less than the regular rate, if they confirm you for a room.
Yea I do agree with what you say but most people who are pissed at them do not read the fine print. Like if you win at 1.00 that's for each person so for 7 days that is $14.00 then you see there is a mandatory $49 bucks a person so 98 bucks a night plus the 2 bucks is $100 so 700 bucks total plus they have a $20 processing fee so 720 total. Yes I was skeptical the first time I used them for TTR but it all worked out. I have not used them for a couple of years because the minimum bid was to high. If we plan on going to Oasis sens in December and they have an auction for it. I would not hesitate to use them again. Rather pay a little over $700 than $1600
they are probably the first ones on the bump list if the resort sells out , which is a high probability in this scenario
