Its a yearly tradition, ever since my grandmother passed, I take my grandfather to a MLB baseball game. Every year we have went to wrigley field in chicago. Im a HUGE cubs fan as you all know, he is a huge Reds fan. Well, I got us 2 tickets for july 29th game IN Cincinnatti, cubs vs. reds!! Section 112, row C! So, we are 3 rows from the field, just to the left of the cubs dugout, autographs WILL be had!! I am super excited!!! Woooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Cant WAIT to see my grandpa's face as we are at the game, his first game AND MY first game going to cinci! Should be a good one! Go cubbies!!!
thats awesome Jason...we took my grandpa to Texas Rangers games every year...and the last few years I got seats behind home plate....I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. He died 2 years ago due to strokes and deteriorating health. Enjoy every moment you can.
That's great, Jason!! Great American BallPark is a good park to see a game in and those seats are very good.
We used to do the same thing with my grandpa every year until he passed. He hated going to the city, but he relished his yearly trip to see his Cardinals. Have a blast!
I did the same with my Dad and Notre Dame every year until he died. I think it was trulely the highlight of his year. I know it was definitel;y a highlight of my year.
Seeing Junior hit a few on his way to 600 would be great for your grandfather, Jason. But don't worry...the way the Reds are playing they'll lose even if Junior does hit a few out of the park.
