Hope everyone is well! Wanted people's thoughts on whether this is a good hotel for a bachelor party trip I am organizing. It is 6 guys, mid 20s, looking for somewhere we can drink/relax and have fun at the pool, maybe meet groups of women in our age range and generally just hang out and have a good time. My concern is that this hotel caters to a slightly older clientele and geared more towards couples. Thoughts??

    Thanks for any responses!

    Your guess is correct.

It really depends on what you are exactly looking for. If most of the guys are married and you just want a party spot and not worry about "hooking up", then I think TTR would be great. It's probably the best resort if you want to party. If you are trying to meet girls especially in the 20's age group then I wouldn't recommend TTR. It's mostly couples, but there are normally groups of singles (mostly guys though).

This is the place to party. There are mostly couples, but I'm sure a group of guys could add some fun. Some of the events are for couples only, so you may miss out on a few things. Each of you could bring a girl (wife or not) and dilute the sausage factor a bit.
But some of us like the sausage, nice to be able to pick from a good selection of meats. lol ;-)

    hmmmm, good question.
i would have to say that it would be a fun time for you guys except...
the 20-25 age single women are pretty rare. you do get some small groups from the UK around spring and a couple here and there that travel in 2 or 3s but its the exception not the rule.
more importantly if you do go to the clubs/bars where there are a lot better selection you can not bring them back to the resort with out paying for a night pass which is around 75-100 per person so you will have to hook up with them at their hotel.
if you guys all have wives and/or girlfriends and just want a fun place to hang out then this place is for you guys.
we brought a male friend on one trip and he said he had a great time but would definately not go back without a date.

There were some guys there from the UK who were having a bachelor party when we were there and quite frankly they didn't fit in and caused a fair amount of trouble that had one of them ejected from the hotel. Personally I would think that if you are a group of single guys in your 20's looking at a bachelor party then this probably is not where you are going to have the most fun. Most of the clientele are couples and most are more than 20 something.

It seems like a lot of guys in their 20's see some woman topless and think that she's trolling and that isn't what the resort is about. That was part of the issue with the guys from the UK. Making a pass at some guy's wife or girlfriend just because she's topless isn't going to win you any friends and TTR is about friends and fun.

I would go to the Oasis if I were you, not Temptation.

I recently came back from an 8 day bachelor party at TTR.

7 guys, ages 27 - 32 so a little older than your group.

We all had a blast, everyone met people and had the experiences they were hoping for. If you are in your younger 20's though and are looking for more of the club group younger crowd I would say you might want go somewhere else. Not that the crowd at TTR doesnt party until 4 am + each night, its just a more mature crowd with more couples.

Remember though you can always go downtown at night and find that crowd, while still having an amazing group of people to party with at your hotel.

You said you want to drink, relax and hang out around the pool while making friends. Then I HIGHLY recommend TTR, as all my friends and myself had an amazing trip.

Do some day trips (quads, waverunners + such), go downtown to club, and enjoy the vibe with a group of people all looking to share similar interests.
