Have a nasty inflammation in both my feet, underneath the heel. Have been to Hospiten and it was a greatly disappointing and expensive experience. X-rays, followed by the standard "take these overpriced pills for 10 days..." Nada, no improvement whatsoever, but 1200 pesos poorer... So... does anyone have a good "foot doctor" to recommend? Preferably from personal experiences, rather than word of mouth.

T.J: Thanks heaps for the details! I live around the corner, so could simply stroll over Scorpio: Dont know exactly what happened. Woke up one day, and BOOM! There was the pain. Both feet, at the same, damn time. The x-rays didnt show much and the Doctor at Hospiten kind of mumbled and didnt really specify much at all. Seemed more like he wanted to check out for the day... Some kind of inflammation in the tissue between the bone and skin, I think. Dont have more details, as I would have gotten it taken care of IF I did, haha Been taking Actron 400 for 2 weeks, and it felt a bit better. But, dont feel comfortable popping anti-inflammatory for several weeks, daily... Ps. Times like these I miss Sweden: Walk in, get treatment, walk out. Done. No cash, no nothing
Scorpio: A dear friend of mine, whom also is a doctor, told me that the Actron 400 is fairly "gentle" on the body and that its ok to take it for that kind of period. But I set a limit, obviously. The thing is that I hadn't done anything special, it just appeared. First I thought it could have been a bad nights sleep(cramps or similar), but nope... The last time I went running before that, was like a month. No pre-pain or anything, it simply appeared. Kind of crap, to say the least, haha I might go back home once we kick out the right-wing, capitalist and Christian coalition(3 parties...) that is currently messing up the entire country... But before that Im not living there for a single day. Money is gone, yet the "new" government has NOTHING to show for... Same as last time they were in charge.
Scorpio: Oh, I know its not good for me, just tried it for a bit. Problem is that now I cant do ANY exercise at all, which sucks, as I love to run. Im gonna try TJ´s doc and then go from there. @Politics: Haha, dont worry about lacking Swedish letters - same for me down here I put my vote on the Social Democrats. My second choice would be the environmental party. (The govt has started to privatize pretty much everything, starting with the pharmacy. Trains, health care etc. are up next... This is devastating for a country that has been Socialist for so long. Values are going down the drain and cancer-patients are being denied health care and are forced to work... This is on a daily basis. Schools are going down the drain as well. Its a mess.)
Scorpio - If you knew Rawkus you would know that "all out running" is nowhere near his vocabulary. JAJAJA Hey T - Wajid went to prep school in Florida, near where I have a home. He speaks perfect English if that helps you and you don't feel like he is rushing you to get to the next patient. A great guy. My buddy Henry went to see him not long ago, got his elbow drained and has had no more problems. He has a physical therapist too in case you need some treatments or therapy or whatever. Fees are quite reasonable.

Now its them, the Centre Party and the Christ democrats... Day one started with the three of them, failing to agree on a single thing. What happened to you is whats happening in EVERY country, world wide. Refugees are different than "immigrants", which is both good an bad. Edit: The coalition has kicked out immigrants whom have waited many years for their papers. The worst cases are the ones whom have been sent back to Iran, Iraq and such and several have been executed, tortured and "disappeared"... I have always benefited from our Socialist way of politics, being from a working class family. The new govt messed up my moms retirement completely and she lost out on about 2000$US/month... Thats the thanks she gets after working fulltime since the age of 17... Thats only one of the many "interesting" things the coalition has done to the regular Swede. Not going to start a long discussion about it, since the topic was my feet, haha
