Just booked through Jan 24-30 with Travelocity for $2,050, but upgraded to Ocean View room $29/night for a total around $2,250. Included flight from Western Mountain States USA which the cheapest I found alone were $460 each. Doing the math, it was $920 for flights, which would have been $1130 for room for 6 days after all fees, so about $190/night after all taxes and fees. CheapCarribean.com is offering $1600 for the room those same dates and alpharooms.com offering $1090. For the extra $40, I would much rather have gone through Travelocity and booked flight at the same time. What do you think? Did I get a decent deal? Should I have waited to book? Cancun/Temptation virgin and will most definitely be coming back for more!
Is this site legit? Temptations Resort If so, it is worth cancelling for $300, and re-booking 7 nights for $700 and 2 flights for $900. That would be $1600 total for 7 nights when I paid $2300 for 6 nights (did reserve ocean view room). So even with the $300 cancellation fee, I would be saving about $400 AND getting an extra night. It all depends on temptationscancun.net being a legit site. Anyone else use them?
On a a side note. Looked at alpharooms last week and it was about $135 for the dates I wanted and just looked now and it's up to $179 per couple. But it was the same last year. Up and down. Just re looked, interesting... Dates 5/13-5/20 7 nites. $948 or $135 a nite Dates 5/9-5/19 10 nites. $1794 or $174 a nite. Very interesting......... Frank
