Anyone know where I can pick up a couple of cheapish but reasonable sets of clubs here? (one set left handed) second hand is fine. I wish I'd brought mine from England now judging by some of the prices I've seen here!

(Are prowife or kennypro still around)

OK - I've got the left handed ones sorted (thanks to Trina :). Just need a decent set/half set of right handed ones for my mate and a putter and big bertha wood for me.

@Gonzo I can only compare with what I would pay in the UK for a used club - in general on segundomano dot com etc. they are much more expensive here.

I think golf in Mexico is still a bit of a rich man's game.

In England we have lots of good public courses you can hack your way round for 10 gbp or thereabouts whereas here they are all private and expensive.

I'm sure a decent set will turn up for the right price. J

There's a par 3 18 hole jack Nicklaus course at the Mayan Riviera - looks lovely - they offered me a local rate of 250 pesos as opposed to the usual 85 dollars! So that needs taking advantage of for sure!

Yes I would love to do some golfing on vaca, but wayyyyy to expensive for me.

The public course I belong to has a Mon-Thurs. special 18 holes with a cart and lunch for 26.95. On the weekend its 28.95 but no lunch.

That's the sort of prices we need here Gonzo! Bet it's lovely food too?

Still looking for a right handed full or half set plus a left handed putter and wood(s).

    Anyone?
