We been to Temptations about 7 times and everytime we went we rode in 1 of the mini vans. You all know we are usually 1 of the last to be drop off,so this time I have a car taking us to Temptation.Do you think I ask the driver to stop at Walmart he may?And if he does how much should I tip him for doing so?

You can ask, but if they have a schedule I doubt they would have time. Cash is king however :)

The R2 bus takes you right there if that doesnt work out. Its easier to pay in pesos at walmart.

First of all, you should take the USA Transfers to and from the airport, and can book from this website. They were great, and you get taken directly to the hotel from the airport. Round trip was $55. I think for $30 they will stop at Walmart, but honestly it is a hell of a lot cheaper to just get settled at the hotel, then take a bus for $1 to Walmart to get what you need. It only takes about 15 minutes on the bus.

If you have a Sam's Club card, they have one there as well (next to Walmart) and they sell liquor there for pretty cheap (they even had huge bottles of Hpnotiq!!! and you will be the life of the party if you get some of that and have shooter parties in your room with it - we are TOTALLY doing that the next time we go! We just discovered it too late in the trip and couldn't drink that much in 2 days - lol).

You can take a taxi to Walmart and back for probably less than the cost to stop on the way from the airport, but that really is a waste of money since the bus is so easy and cheap. My first thought about taking a public bus in Mexico was "ewwww" - but I swear the bus is nicer than any public bus I have seen in the US - and it isn't like Romancing the Stone where people have chickens with them and stuff - lol!!

As Sultryfox mentioned USA Transfers will stop at Walmart for a price of $30 per hour. It does seem a bit expensive but remember your shopping trip will be tying up a vehicle and driver for an hour when he could be off on another job. A cab is also going to cost maybe $25 round trip at tourist taxi prices.

The bus is cheap, simple and easy, maybe bus it there and take a cab back if you have a lot of stuff to carry.

Wow, you are on this site and don't know about USA Transfers? USA Transfers are a dream come true for Temptation folks as you will always be the last one to get dropped off in a normal van setting, whereas for a couple bucks more you go straight to Temptation via the WalMart route and can stop there for next to nothing. Check with your travel provider, as cancelling your transfer usually doesn't cost you any type of cancellation fee.
