Hi peeps, just booked up the barcelo tucancun for 17th march for 2 weeks. Any info on location of the hotel and reviews would be great and where to party at night...
GREAT! I'm sure you guys will have a great time since the dates you chose have a heavy amount of spring breakers in-town. The clubs won't post their lineups until sometime in February although the lineups WILL include some really big names in the techno/electro/hiphop genres. There are a TON of extra activities to get into like jungle tours, jet-ski'ing, eco parks, Mayan ruins tours, etc. As far as hotels I would recommend: Barcelo Costa Why this hotel? All major year round travel / tour companies offer it = massive mix of students = more fun Better location that many other hotels, just 5 mins to the party center vs. 30 mins from Oasis One of only a handful of hotels that is all inclusive + offers a "toes in sand" bar on the all inclusive Quality much higher rooms inside than many other "popular" spring break hotels Bumpin' music at the pool Property is like a nice Holiday Inn on the beach Barcelo is a worldwide chain that's very well known not just in Mexico Gran Caribe Real why this hotel? Prime location, across street from Flamingo Plaza it's twice as close to the party center as Oasis True 5 star - not some dubious "5 star" it realy is a 5 star One of the only 24 hour all inclusive (including alcohol) hotel properties in Cancun Restaurants are superb & not overcrowded Higher end hotel keeps the trash out Hit us back for more info on this great city!
Thanks for the info... Will definately be doing some excursions whilst put there. Them other two hotels seemed nice but we made a joint decision on the tucancun. Roll on march
I've been to Cancun twice this year and the year before. On my trip this year in March i stayed at the barcello Tucancun and thought it was very nice, with really friendly Staff and the Rooms and food areas were really nice and clan. Going in spring break the pool staff "Alan and Useless are really fun guys along with Gloria (think I've remembered her name correctly) who is also lots of fun whilst easy on the eyes. Ha Your about a 20 - 30 min walk to the clubs but the hotel put shuttle buses on so you'll be fine. The hotel entertainment staff will tell you were to go each night, You don't have to go with them but its normally a safe bet to do so in terms of wheres the place to be that night. If you decide you want go to somewhere were there not they can still sort you out with tickets and seen as all the clubs are next to each other you can still get the transfer to the clubs. When does oasis usually fill up? i wanna book a trip but i wont have the money until around december. will that be too late?
I'm no spring break expert... But from what I've read on here pretty soon as its the main hub for SB. I'd hurry up and book.
