I have a question. I bought a bunch of glow jewelry for white night. I am only bringing a carry-on. I checked on the TSA site, and it says they are ok in carry-on bags and makes no mention of them needing to fit the liquids rule, but implies that it all depends on the person who screens you. Has anyone ever brought them in their carry-on? They are too long to fit into my 3-1-1 bag. But I would think that since they're in their sealed packaging & sealed themselves, that it wouldn't be a problem. Has anyone ever brought them in a carry-on successfully? I mean, I guess it doesn't really matter, as I'll bring them regardless, only be out a few $ if they say no, but just wondering if anyone's ever tried it? (5 DAYS!!!!) :partyhorn:

I know that many, many people have brought glow sticks to Temptation from home so they must be getting them through security, although I believe most of them packed it in their checked luggage.

On another note, never break open a glow stick and pour the glow liquid all over your body. On our last trip to Temptation one of our friends did this and immediately regretted it when the liquid started to burn his skin. He was in a lot of pain, needless to say. So now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Just FYI... Glow sticks in my carry on we're not a problem. Just looked to see what they were & passed them right along.

Glow sticks seem to be talked about a lot! If you forget them, or need some, I decided to pack 100 extras...Don't be shy to ask, they are "free" if you smile, one drink if you don't! :)
