Isn't the point of following CCC being part of the themes and making TTR more fun? Joining in the themes will fellow CCC members is a lot of fun and makes it feel like you know people before ever meeting them. It's amazing how many people who are there and don't know will ask why people are dressed like they are.
Was just informed from a friend that this does not work, he tried it and said it doesn't work and is a hoax, as there is a video on youtube about it.
Participate in the themes it's fun and a great way to meet folks. You don't have to go crazy money wise for the themes by any means. Think of it as throw away clothing. We use yandy.com for the clothing and ebay. Never spend more than a 100 for 8 nights worth of themes. Glow sticks 5 bucks for a tube of bracelets and necklaces with plenty left over to pass out.
If you have a dollar tree near you they have a 15-pack of glow bracelets for a dollar. I brought a pack and shared them with everyone. Glow was a fun addition to the white night on 8/2! (Plus it looked cool in the foam)
Did dollartree glow shopping yesterday. Spent $7 and got 15 necklaces and 30 bracelets. Oh and an additional $3 to get 24 bead necklaces. LOVE dollartree.
In April I brought balloons and put mini glow sticks in them. Fun! This time i bought glow swords...Hmmm!
