Just read a message on trip advisor (well a review)... Whats your take on this ... BS? "The issue I have is this hotel is all inclusive and like many other all inclusive places in cancun they put GHB in their bottles that caused us to almost go to the hospital. Many people were ill from the liquor ( anxiety, fast heart rate, extremely sedated and Bla feeling) I decided to put it to the test and purchased all my own stuff across the street and it was a day an night change. Many people did the same and felt so much better. This really upset me because I do not do drugs and the fact this hotel did this to me is not right and flat out illegal. I have contacted an Attourney and will have them shut down for such illegal activity. It makes sense why they do it- saves money on alcohol, gets people pretty much banging everyone right in front of you, doesn't show up on drug tests so people think they can't prove it but I got proof so watch out! I hope people watch out here unless your fine with having drugs in your system without permission. Remember your in another country and anything could happen to you.."
Bull Shit! We had a great time there. Seems like someone is making excuses for not being able to control their drinking.
I do not remember having any feels of fear and concern and either did my wife based on how she was dressed. The fast heart rate did occur but only when certain people were doing certain things. I did not see any extremely sedated people at the "Sexy" pool, but then again they could have been at the "Quiet" pool. I think someone making things up!
We drank all week...don't normally drink at home - no problems.... Someone else said this to our faces and we gave her a hard time...told her maybe she shouldn't drink so much. Wonder if it was her. LOL... ~Jill~
