yes my wife and i booked thru orbitz and did not take out the insurance. after talking to some people on the forum we have decided that we better take it out. i called orbitz back to get it and they said that u have to take it out at time of booking or no more than 24 hrs after booking. i would really feel better now that ive thought about it to have it. i checked with credit card and they also dont offer it. any body have any suggestions on how to get this coverage after the 24 hr. time limit that they failed to tell me. lol robert
Numerous trip insurance companies out there. Search on line using key words trip insurance. www.tripinsurance.com is just one such place. I have never used any of them so I can not recommend any.
We got trip ''health'' insurance through IMG. Just in case my appendix bursts while on vacation. I believe they also offer the regular trip cancellation insurance as well.
