So we ended up getting a free vacation to the Wyndham Azteca resort in Playa Del Carmen in December which per Google maps is exactly a 1 hour drive from Temptation. We are thinking about trying to get up to Temptation to do a Boobs Cruise one day while we are there. Has anyone ever booked transportation from Playa to Temptation and back in the same day, and if so who did you use? Any ideas on how to make this happen are appreciated.
We're staying at a different resort in PM, and booked transfer to/from the BC with Kalido Travel whom we've used before for airport transfer and been very happy with. USA Transfer also quoted us the same price, $60 USD RT.
We have taken a Taxi from Temptation to Desire and back again several years ago and it worked out very well. The drive was about 45 minutes each way and unfortunately we cannot remember the cost but it was reasonable. It looks like you are around twice the distance so I could see allowing an hour and a half each way depending on traffic. Both resorts had the taxi waiting for us in front and it worked out excellent. Perhaps your resort can assist you with a taxi cost estimate each way if you give them a call. Hope you have a Ball!
If you want to do it cheap use the local buses (colectivo) someone in the hotel where you are should be able to direct you to the correct bus and when to get it . It will probably cost you less than $10 each way . We have used them no issues , clean cheap and reliable .
We used USA Transfers from Desire RM to Temptation (and back) for the Boobs Cruise during the renovation. service was perfect and price was good.
