Our first trip in June 2012 was beyond amazing, including where our room was! At least we thought so. Ground floor with Paty Os at the front door and the sports pool/restaurant at the sliding door. How can one get a room in that area again? Don't want to end up at the quiet end of the resort. We sorta like to party hard.
This is where I will selflessly pull a 'Gogo' and trade you for a quiet room if we are there at the same time!LOL
If they are not sold out we have always been able to get one. Patio toward the sexy pool is pretty convienent as well............
Just request it when you check in. There are only a few of us who love those rooms so it shouldn't be too difficult!
It just so happens we have liked those rooms too. Each of the three trips they have placed us there without even asking. 2105 first time, 2108 the second, and 2101 just recently. All ground floor by the bar. I did, however, find this time to be particularly noisy. 2101 is on the corner right by the gift shop. I think the sound funnels into that corridor. Also, the hallway next to it leads to the other buildings so you get the loud crazies going back to their rooms at the end of the night and they're enough to wake you up. I think we will ask for another place next time just for a change.
We emailed the resort asking for the same room again and they said they will do their best to place is in that room and if not, at least in the same block/same floor etc.
Room 2101 is the best at TTR if you want to party and no sleep Room 1229 & 1231 if you want the biggest and badest deck parties, quite pool area, but what ever Room 4301 if you want to be close to the sexy pool & cigar lounge. Room 1119 is Garden View just opposite Room 2101 near Tex Mex - Small Room Room 1116 is a Jacuzzi Suite first floor, facing quiet pool and next to Nice Shoes Room 1129 is a Jacuzzi Suite too, just dont have sex with the curtains open and hot tub deck shade pulled down - People can see you from the restaurant Room 3308 is facing the sexy pool 2nd floor, end of hall way right on the corner - We hid "sweetchildofmine" rubber chicken under the sink - try to find it and then hide it somewhere else in the hotel for the next CCC member 5000 block, rooms are tiny, balconies even smaller, too far to walk in my opinion
Some rooms in block 4 are miles away, next to the Staff entrance and overlooking the "mortorway". I personally prefer block 5 walking on the path along the beach to get to the Sexy Pool.Tend to be quiet too.
