When we booked our Feb 2012 trip Dec 10, 2012 the very next day we decided we wanted ocean view so we called Expedia and we were told no problem. They needed to cancel the existing rez and book a new one, would take 10-15 days to see credit. BS, we saw a couple individual credits immediately but still short $998 - they now insinuate we may not get the full refund (we were very clear if there would be a fee not to make any change). Told via email we need to call tomorrow. I hate this route, I want all in writing - the one segment we are missing is the conversation stating no fees. We have given them a ton of business over the years, no more. I will make it a part time job spreading our experience on travel forums, BBB and where ever I can find an audience. All Beware of Expedia, I will update results. (we have already disputed charge with Visa)
My friend you are not alone, my wife and I were in Mexico our last trip, Temptation resort and spa, we received our confirmation by both the resort and expedia , when we arrived I was told that I had mistakenly booked a two for one ladies deal, however even though both confirmations stated a male and a female, so I ended up passing an additional 329.00 more than the other two couples did that booked the same itinerary as we did,EXPEDIA DID NOTHING,,, Temptations ROBBED ME and we will never use them again, they would not send me an email as to why they would not help, because I have a penis shouldn't mean I should be charged an extra 329.00 dollars,, sexual discrimination?? NOT HAPPY WITH EITHER INSTITUTE,
