I've got a problem and need some advise. I'll be the first to say that I'm not in the best of shape but I'm not in the worst shape either. I want to know what other guys and gals, mainly guys as I'm a guy, get into shape and stay in shape. I'm limited to how many workouts I can get in during the week as my son plays hockey up to 5 times a week and my daughter is in dance twice a week. Need help....... Also this may be a dumb question because I'm sure I know how most people are going to answer but here it goes. Do women like the muscle head, six pack, no neck guys (sorry guys if your offended) or do they like a guy with a little insulation on them? I would like to know how crazy I'm going to have to work on my body transformation. Brian
Getting in shape Getting in shape for April I usually start 3 months in advance by having 2 drinks a day. After a week I progress to 3 drinks a day.,, and so on By the middle of the second month I start experimenting with shots of Tequila gradually increasing the number of shots ,,after all it is all you can drink at TTR. Into the third month I practice all nighters , also including hamburgers on top. By the end of the third month your Liver is conditioned for TTR Hope this helps I
Brian your in good shape. I like to see some muscle on guys but as far as the total hard body no neck guys. Nah I like a little square pecks and shapely arms but not the whole veins popping out on the arm thing either. P90x might be all you need or try Donalds approach. I got to work my ass off for april too. Right after I get back on Sunday from Cancun. Thought I better say this is Monique, don't want you to think Glenn has a thing for you.

I do Insanity and P90X and don't forget to eat right, else all your work is wasted. If I have time, I will do one of each on the same day, but I have been working out steady since February. I had to go buy 100 more pounds for my dumb bells this week, although as much as I try, I can only do about 8 one-arm push-ups.
I (brent) have been working out pretty steady since july getting ready for our trip in february. Without a doubt i like my junk food, pizza, and cheeseburgers so i pretty much follow my plan extremely strictly monday to friday and do whatever i want on weekends. In the 16 weeks so far i have lost about 16 pounds of fat and gained about the same amount of muscle. In your position if u could find the time to do a 45 minute full body workout 2 or 3 times a week and get cardio in when you can......maybe walk laps around the rink (if possible) or step out to do a 20-30 minute brisk walk while at hockey or dancing, you could make some major gains or loss no matter what your goal is. Food is the biggest part though. Too little and your body will slow down burning fat and will burn muscle when it can leaving you looking like a smaller version of whatever your current state is....and well, we all know what too much leads too.
You may want to look into the insanity DVD's. You can do this at home in your spare time. We have a couple of friends that we met at TTR that do the Insanity and they look great. Don't forget to eat right
Personally (Allana), I'm not into muscle head, roid ragers with veins all popping out. But I do find muscle, tone and definition sexy, and would never object to a six pack...however, I have been trying to get one myself, unsuccessfully, so I wouldn't expect my man to have one! PS, I think you look great, and your sexy wife too ;-)
