This summer, and last, there were droughts and high temps across much of the U.S. Here, by contrast, things seem to carry on pretty much as usual for the hottest summer months, July and August. Next two weeks highs are expected to be 86-88 F. 90 degrees F., is about as hot as it ever gets here, and we typically have a breeze blowing off the sea, making it feel just a little cooler. Wait till 7 PM and most nights during July and August it will feel pleasantly cool to be out, at a ball game for example. Ironic that in these times you have to come south to get cool! Come on down! Water's fine, as usual. http://weather.yahoo.com/mexico/quintana-roo/cancun-114632/?unit=c ______________________
Here's an example of what I'm talking about, it's 4:00 in the afternoon, it's 84 degrees, and there is a light breeze with some clouds rolling in. Another great day to be at the beach! or, as I'm planning to do, to sit on the balcony and look out to Isla Mujeres in the distance. I don't know how many of you think of coming here in the summer, but you just might be escaping greater heat back home by doing it. http://weather.yahoo.com/mexico/quintana-roo/cancun-114632/?unit=c
