Anyone going to Gatlingburg TN/Cherokee NC In June, or Myrtle Beach in August? Me & my Mom are suppose to go to Tenn the 1st or 2nd week of June, and had plans on going over to Cherokee NC to check out Harrahs, and I wanted to see if anyone would be down that way.. It will be through the week, not weekends, as I have to work...

Also, we are planning on a beach trip around August 17, or a week later.. We're gonna try to go to Florida if we can, but we'll probably end back up at Myrtle Beach though...

Hope to see some of you all..

After my extended "vacation" in the hospital this past January, I have no time left for REAL vacations!

Wish I could have joined her though!

Sorry about your trip to the hospital...

Don't know when i'm going to Tennessee now.. I'm not watching the Reds until July or September.. Think they play The Pirates.... Mom wants to wait and go watch them.. Keep checking on Florida.. Roundtrip air is gonna be about $200 each, not too bad.. Room is about $450 for 4 nights. .Again, not too bad, but not putting Myrtle Beach out of the picture just yet.. Depends on gas and stuff I guess.

Yeah....gas is getting pretty out of control compared to what we Americans are use to paying. Dunno how we managed to escape the nose bleed pricing that the rest of the world has had to live with since the beginning of time, but it is what it is.

For the first time in my life I actually have to calculate the cost of driving versus the cost of flying before deciding which to do. And....your right, you have to keep checking on the airfares as they seem to be changing daily right now.

    August 10-14 or 15

    or

    August 17-21 or 22

I'll have to give you my cell number if I come down to Myrtle.. Hope to go to Florida, but it all depends on gas prices and stuff.. I'm going to the beach somewhere though..

I would just as soon to go to Myrtle Beach, but I absolutely hate the drive.. Takes us around 11 hours counting traffic/construction.

Want to stay somewhere different if I go here this year, but have no clue where.. I want to find a place to stay where you can walk to get to things in place of driving, cause if it's Myrtle, I won't be driving.. I don't like to drive other peoples vehicles...
