Anyone ever been to Garrafon Park on Isla Mujeres? Just wondering if it is worth the $ and time to visit during a day trip to the island. Looks like prices range from $USD $74 to $164 pp for the day. I do like the idea of the zip lines and swiming with the dolphins! Thanks for your info! Garrafón Park Garrafón Park is named for an incredible reef formation, part of the longest reef in the hemisphere. There are gift shops, restaurant and snack bars, bathrooms with showers and dive shops. The entrance fee gives you full use of the facilities. The park also offers guided tours to Punta Sur and the "Blue Eye Cave", Zip line flights and Caribbean Bungee jumping. A great way to spend the day and well worth the entrance fee! Garrafón Park is located on the south end of the island facing Cancun.
Let me start right off by saying that I work for the company that owns Garrafon. That said, I don't make commissions, haha, but I have been there several times. The park is really lovely, well kept, lots of areas with shade, all inclusive food and drink. The snorkeling is good, the zip lines are fun (extra cost, $5 USD) and the kayaks are a blast. The pool with the hidden caves is my son's favourite place to hang out. I like the hammock garden. There is a path on the cliffs that takes you to Punta Sur of Isla Mujeres, great views. You can combine it with a swim with dolphins experience at Dolphin Discovery just down the street (transportation between the two facilities is included).
