Anyone ever been to Garrafon Park on Isla Mujeres? Just wondering if it is worth the $ and time to visit during a day trip to the island. Looks like prices range from $USD $74 to $164 pp for the day. I do like the idea of the zip lines and swiming with the dolphins! Thanks for your info! Garrafón ParkGarrafón Park is named for an incredible reef formation, part of the longest reef in the hemisphere. There are gift shops, restaurant and snack bars, bathrooms with showers and dive shops. The entrance fee gives you full use of the facilities. The park also offers guided tours to Punta Sur and the "Blue Eye Cave", Zip line flights and Caribbean Bungee jumping. A great way to spend the day and well worth the entrance fee! Garrafón Park is located on the south end of the island facing Cancun.
No. The "Park" is not worth the trip. In fact, I'd say find another attraction. Find some good food or drink or even lodging for your next stay.
We definitely plan on taking a day trip to the island .... we were just undecided if we would spend it at Garrafon Park, or if we would just rent a golf cart for the day and spend it exploring the island ourselves. I think that we are leaning towards the ladder.
if you choose the latter, I can gladly show you all of the hot beautiful spots and be your tour guide if you'd like
went to the garrafon park in feb this year... i personally didnt think it was worth the money...the snorkling was good though.. renting a golf cart and exploring the island on the other hand is a must do!!!
does anyone know of another place to go zip lining other then here at Garrafon park? that is the one thing that I totally want to do, but it's not worth all of that money if we do that, hang for a little bit and leave ....
xplor.... and they have a freakin 1.5 mile long awesome one that goes through a waterfall and ends in a cave. google Xplor... and watch the sweet video on the website!
