Hello fun seekers! It's that time of year again. The GF and I are headed back to Cancun for the 3rd year in a row. We plan on taking a day/night trip down to PDC this time and I'm looking for some suggestions on some fun stuff to do there. Obvi, there's 5th avenue, but I'm looking for a fun beach bar to go to. Something with decent eats and drinks that's not way overpriced. We'd be going for early dinner and staying for drinks/entertainment. We are more in to the laid back, beach party type place...maybe with some live music as opposed to the spring break club scene places. I think I saw someone recommend the Blue Parrot? Any others? Also, what's the best/cheapest way to get from Cancun to PDC and back? Does the bus go back and forth? Will I need a cab late night? Thanks!
there is a brand new place that I recommend you try. Its called the Wah-Wah Beach Club on the beach and 2nd. This place will be just what you are looking for. They have food-beach chairs and live music almost every night. The house band is the Nasty Bastards-who previously was the house band at Bad Boys on the beach. You really need to see this place to believe it-state of the art and the best you will find in Playa.
Has anyone been to Fusion in Playa Del Carmen? We are going to spend a day there between the 5th and 10th of April and from what we have found on the internet it seems like the place to go on the beach. Any advice or suggestions.
We have a while before we go but so far Fusion or the Wah Wah looks like where we will end up, or both. Thanks for your suggestions.
We are staying in Puerto Morelos from the 4th to the 11th at a small hotel on the beach that we stayed at many years ago with our children. A quiet week to ourselves and then off to Temptation from the 11th to the 25th for a little more FUN!!! Kids are all grown up so nothing to hang around home for.
