Tara and I are newbies to TTR, and discovered the forums. They've been a great way to meet people, make friends and figure out what to expect and what to bring or buy. We're down to a month, and looking forward to our trip! So here's what us newbies have learned so far from reading the threads and talking to CCC members: 1. Beware the first day curse. Noted. Thanks Joe and Kathy for the warning! Will definitely drink plenty of water and pace ourselves on the first day. 2. Tipping makes all the difference in the world. Bring a roll of $1 bills. Pretend we're going to a strip club. Check! 3. Bring AIWC (Alcohol Infused Whipped Cream). Not checked yet. Local liquor store doesn't have it so we'll look online. 4. Bring an insulated mug for drinks. Check! 5. Show up with orange wrist bands to identify us as CCC members. Looking on ebay this week... 6. Guys should get into theme attire just like the gals. Thanks for that tip, Curtis and Dawn. Check! 7. Get your beach towels out on a chair early. Check! 8. Usual time for CCC members' social at the sexy pool is around 4pm. Check! 9. Boobs are not only authorized, they are preferred. Check! So...with all that we've learned, what have we missed? What other little details should us newbies be thinking about? After all, it's the little things that make a difference, and avoid those "Gee, would've been nice to know" moments. Cheers!
Day 1 -don't sit down unless eating or if you are in a large group such as the pool hot tubs. Circulate and commit to chatting with at least 5 fun couples or singles on your first day (20 would be better). FYI-Singles are a blast to chat with so relax, say hi, or simply show up with a stack of 12 shooters at a busy hot tub and ask if anyone needs a drink. Purple shit, wet pussy, and Spider-Man or other are popular. In the sexy pool and at Paty'Os make sure you smile, raise your glass, offer a quick "Hi", and above all, for her, offer complements to the girls on their outfits or to those bravely baring boobs (some for the first time). There's lots of funny clothes, hats and accessories to get you chatting and its always a good ice breaker to complement someone even if about silly or sexy things. Sitting at a table of 4 in the restaurant allows new friends to join you for a quick meal, even when unplanned. Have a blast and ooh I almost forgot..... Big group pictures of the girls in the theme outfits are taken out front about 10'sh or so with smaller groups on the Paty'Os stairs or in the lobby so she should just see if she can join in. Makes for great memories.
Joe and Tara, Don't forget about the time share people. If you are interested in taking a tour, they will hook you in for most of your day. If you schedule something with them, they will call you and wake you up daily until you show up. When you arrive, the people working the front desk are okay. It's the people sitting at the desks along the windows that will steal your party time!!! If you like the resort and are interested in buying time share, you can visit them later (by then you will have done your own tour of the resort on your own time). Dawn
Loving this thread Joe and Tara as me and my fiance Moragn are too, TTR virgins. So great work! I have a few questions if you don't mind me adding to this thread... 1) CCC Orange Wristbands - I did read on another thread that these are also used for Swingers to identify themselves to each other. I must stress this again - We have NOTHING against people who are open, and would have no issues mixing with them, chatting and partying but we, personally aren't an open couple, so we wouldn't want to mislead or give off the wrong impression wearing the orange band even though we'd love to meet some of the great people we have been welcomed by on CCC. Could someone please clarify for me...? 2) May i ask what the AIWC is for...i can make a stab at a guess, licking it off others? That sounds like fun, i'm sure we could stretch to that :icon_lol: 3) The Theme nights, we have some attire ready but i'm not a real girly girl, i'm kinda Tom boyish at times, am i ok to weather something less revealing like the gentlemen do at these nights....? Any help would be greatly appreciated from you lovely people and i'd just like to thank all of you who have taken the time to welcome us and put our minds at rest already about being a Lesbian Couples first time at TTR :mnm: Sophie and Morgan x
Orange bands are strictly for ccc people. Swingers have a different colored one and not many of the swingers actually wear them. The orange ones let you know who is from this site.
The orange wristbands identify that you are on CCC. They are not associated with swingers. Some of the swingers wear white bands with red lips. AIWC is for exactly what you described. Theme nights you can pretty much do as you wish. The outfits have quite a range. Just wear what you're comfortable with. This April was our 1st trip as well. I went more risque with my outfits just in case and I wore all of them with no regrets. Have fun!!
Thanks both for the swift replies, and these Orange Wristbands...Where can i get them from? Ebay...? Naughty Newfies...Thanks for the details
Good thread! will take all these away with me. The only thing i dont like is the putting a towel on a sunbed early, absolutely hate this attitude! so unfair. guessing this happens a lot here then? Minor point though, just a pet hate! 3 weeks today
AWESOME THREAD! everything I have been searching for!! One question though, does anyone really leave the resort for partying? We're debating on leaving the resort either Friday or Saturday to go downtown. A friend was telling us about how their hotel setup a party night and brought them to 3 different clubs. I saw this (Cancun Party Hopper Tour.) but saw that this has stopped operating. Soo, is anyone actually leaving the resort? TTR seems to good to leave...
