Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows of any free spay and neuter clinics, both to volunteer at and to take some dogs and cats from around here.

    thanks

    Hey.

Shoot off an email to CANDI(Cats And Dogs International). VIDAS(unsure about the complete name) and Cocos Cat rescue down in Playa del Carmen - they always need volunteers! :)

Cocos is doing a 2-day, small free clinic(only like 200 animals) along with Animalistas Cancun in Corales, starting tomorrow, ending on Wednesday.

There is a school there where we will have the clinic. Unsure about the name and/or street-name though :(

Ill be there from 9am tomorrow and same on Wednesday.

The school is named "Escuela Secundaria Federal #14 "Los Corales"

The only street name I get is "4 Pte." I havent seen any other school in that area, so it shouldnt be hard to find if going by taxi.

Hope to see you there tomorrow and/or Wednesday :)

Great first day! When I left, the number of animals spayed/neutered where 103.

This is a small campaign - during the bigger ones we do up to 300 per day.

I spent some 3 hours driving around Corales ugliest parts, picking up a bunch of dogs from people that literally have zero cash to spend.

Found 5 puppies thrown away in a plastic bag. 2 had survived and are under treatment as we speak.

We will keep fighting, but it sure as hell would help if the damn Government would do their part, as well as the people living here.

There will be a big clinic in Playa in August. We'll be there for sure. I agree, I wish there was government funding to combat this huge problem.
