http://www.coldplay.com/song.html They will deliver it to your email addy within seconds of asking for it. Michelle
Pretty interesting concept. Radiohead, for some time, allowed people to download "In Rainbows" (their lastest cd) at no cost. All they asked for was for people to donate what they thought was appropriate. However it seems they have stopped the free download. Obviously they were not making enough.
Not Cold Play. I was saying how the group Radiohead had a free download awhile back but stopped it. I attempted the Cold Play download but it brought me to a sign in screen to which I have no information to input.
If you provide your email addy, they then send you the link. You can establish a dummy account for that purpose and then do your download...you don't need to use your regular email addy if you don't want to. Michelle
Used one of my Hotmail accounts for this but when I click on the link, it brings up a small box to log into: Connecting to lonhtp.interoutemediaservices.com. Did you experience that? Wonder if it is my security? Still why would it bring up a log in box? It would just state that it is unable to download. Oh well...
You only get that message if you click the link. If you copy & paste, you bypass that login non-sense. Michelle
Nine Inch Nails is doing the same... http://dl.nin.com/theslip/signup Just enter an email address for them to send you the download link to. Works great!
Thanks Dan! I can still remember when NIN was an underground bar band here in Chicago and the rest of the world had no clue that they even existed...I'm happy for their success! Michelle
