I am so stressed. I renewed my passport back in May and they sent it to the wrong zip code so now its going back to an office in NH. I am freaking out because we are cutting it close now. Damn State agencies!!!!
If you know that the passport was completed and is in the mail to you but sent to the wrong zip code, call the agent office/post office that you know it is being re-routed to. From there explain your situation and ASK if you can expedite the mailing. It should only be an extra couple of bucks.
Call them and have them expedite shipping to you. The send it priority mail so it shouldn't take but a few days. We were pushing it close on ours but if you call them they should be able to help you if your travel date is within 2 weeks.
I got some help over the phone yesterday so hopefully I'll get it soon. It just sucks that I have to wait more. Were so ready for this much needed vacation that it cant come soon enough!
How long does it take to get a passport in the US. In canada it takes 6 days from the time I dropped off the application till the day I got it in the mail. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I waited to get my named changed on mine till right at 6 weeks before our trip. Was stressing big time about getting it but I got in four weeks. Pretty sure my neighbors thought I'd won the lottery when I checked my mail and it was there! I hope they get yours to you fast!
I spoke to a nice woman who told me I should be getting it by mon or tuesday. It will be overnighted once they recieve it. I am sort of happy but when it gets in my hands then I will be really pumped. On another note 13 more days till paradise. Just got our bracelets today. I cant wait to meet you all.
