This is hilarious!!!! Guinness Girl found this trip advisor and we wanted to share. We read all the reviews before we booked and we started reading the forums and we new this was the place for us. Too bad this guy didn't feel the same. If it looks too long, at least read from the 3rd paragraph down. Reviewed May 12, 2013 NEW The first thing I need to say about this place is the hotel itself and that staff was fantastic. I've had better food at hotels but I wouldn't complain too much about that. Also, I read a few reviews about the amount of cockroaches but in the 2 weeks I was there with my girlfriend we seen 3 of them (all outdoors) and 1 of them was dead. In a hot country like this I expect to see a few cockroaches so this wasn’t a problem for me at all. Now, I've also seen reviews about the kind of people this hotel attracts and although when I read them I thought "oh, it can't be that bad". Well, it was that bad. It was worse in fact. We'd intentionally avoided the "sexy pool" because this was mine and my girlfriends first holiday together and we didn't want to see or get involved in all the wild games so we set up at the "quiet pool" everyday but we didn't exactly escape the 'freak show' there. The floor level rooms around the quiet pool have Jacuzzi on the balcony and one day we were sat by the pool and looked over and witnessed a man sat on the side of a Jacuzzi whilst being given oral sex by a girl in the Jacuzzi. Now I’m no prude but I don't want to see that while I’m relaxing around the pool. The lower level rooms also had blinds to be pulled down for privacy but no attempt to use these blinds was made by this couple. Another day by the pool we saw another couple going at it on one of the balconies. Thankfully because this couple wasn't on the ground floor we couldn't see as much as the Jacuzzi couple so all I’ll say is she sounded like she was enjoying it. We seen this couple a few times around the pool and they were always feeling each other up so I just assume they enjoyed being watched and wanted everyone to know what they were up to. On another occasion, this time in the Paty'O lounge bar, we were sat having a few drinks with some friends we'd made and we noticed a man on the next table to us receiving oral sex. Now if that wasn't bad enough the man being given his treat in the bar was the same man from the balcony but it was a different woman. If this is the kind of thing you're into or you think you'd enjoy seeing this kind of thing on a daily basis then this is the hotel for you. Personally, I’m not into seeing this kind of thing and I will definitely not be going back to Temptation. It's a shame really because as I said, the hotel itself and the staff are terrific. If they'd put a stop to the weird things that go on there then this hotel would be perfect.
Haha, those tripadvisor reviews are good for laughs! Maybe I need to start going in May and staying near the quiet pool if I want to witness that voyeurs dream. ~Shawna
OMG!!! That happens at TTR????:icon_eek::icon_eek: I guess I need to cancel our 16th trip there in which we leave tomorrow!!! NOT!!!!!! Gotta love Tripadvisor. Debbie
We've been twice (so far), seen people being active on their balconies both times. Both times I contemplated seeking them out and thanking them for the inspiration lol In this day and age how is that anyone would venture into a resort without knowing what it was like from online reviews. I wonder if the reviewer went someplace else the next year... "hey honey, this Hedonism place sounds nice"?
