Really? We get to go on one awesome vacation in 5 years and.... Thursday through Sunday is forecast to be rain in Cancun. Grr. Add to that the snow we're getting here which may delay our flight Thursday morning and this vacation isn't kicking off quite right! Man, do we need a drink! T - 40 hours or so...
You do look like you'll get a bit. However, no one can control the weather. Find ways to make the best of the situation, even if doing the beach or pool doesn't work out well you can always explore town etc. Besides, it's not like staying home would be any more fun right?
Oh we'll have fun I have no doubt - I would just prefer at least a 50% Nice sunny day to rainy windy day ratio... haha.
Also, a lot of times the prediction is rain and it only rains for a few minutes and then the sun comes back out. I think it "rains" almost every day we are there in June. In the 6 trips we have been there of a week or more each time, I think it poured rain like 3 or 4 days where it was a total loss and didn't go out by the pool at some point in the day. You will have fun no matter what! Tequila is great for a rainy day of vacation. ~Jill~

Well one thing is for certain, it will be warmer than Iowa. And I don't have to go to work. Win / Win. Oh and thanks for the trip report, we did read it!
Just got off the plane and fortunately for us on week 8, it was hot and sunny every single day (1 day a little rain at 4 pm but it was so warm it felt good). It was starting to rain when we left this morning and the locals said it was set in for a few days, unfortunately.
Anything has to be better than the last week we have had in Missouri be glad to leave Saturday morning
