Thanks Tom! Was just reading my Isla map from mapchick. Just came today...so between that and your video im ready to go!!! NOW! :bounce:
Isla Mujeres Great Video. I am sending my daughter, husband, son and wife, to Isla for a day when we come to Cancun next month (I'm keeping the kids). Any advice with regard to where they should spend part of the day, have lunch, etc. They prefer local to tourist places. I would really like for them to have a very relaxing and enjoyable time. My son and daughter don't get a chance to spend much time together as they live in different states. Any information would be appreciated. Jaki
Isla I would recommend Sonochos on Hildago, for lunch, ate there almost everyday with some friends that have a table reserved for them there all the time. The beach across from the Posada del Mar was great. Not as crowded and plenty of drinks and food nearby or brought to you on the beach. Have fun, rent a cart and do a lap of the island too. Don't leave any valubles unattended on any of the beaches!
Re: Isla Is Playa Norte crowded as far as beaches go???? I would like to take my mom and daughter to a nice calm beach while in Cancun. We are staying at the Cancun Palace and the beach there is fine for me, but way to rough for my mom. Thanks Chi-town Tom! EB
Ellabear, The beaches on Isla are very calm and lack sea weed as well. Also on Playa Norte you can walk out for 100 yards and the water is only up to your waist. You can always seem to find a place on the sand to rest. Mother nature has reduced the size of the beach between the Avalon up to Sunset Grill, but enlarged it starting at Sergios. Have Fun!!!!
