    Hello everyone,

Coming to Cancun on April the 9th for two weeks on my Honeymoon :) Very excited !!!!
Obviously as it's a honeymoon we will be doing romantic stuff and visiting the sights and enjoying Cancun to the full.

My future wife (getting married on the 7th) has been convinced by my good self, that going to watch Atalante play and taking in some mexican wrestling would be a cultural experience, (I'm not actually sure she is buying my BS)

Anyway been on the Atalante website and it seems pretty straight forward that i can buy tickets at the stadium, My First question is, which area of the Ground would be the best for atmosphere and are there any supporters bars where we can take in a pre-match beer with the atalante fans?

My next question is will we be able to take in any Mexican Wrestling while we are in Cancun? Had a look around on the web and can't find much.

Any help or comments would be appreciated ,

    Cheers Greg. ;)

Greg: I go to Atlantes home games as often as I can(almost every game).

You are in luck!! On the 14th of April, UNAM Pumas are visiting. One of Mexicos biggest clubs, from the capital.

This one you have to get the ticks in good time, basically as soon as they are released. The game is on a Saturday, so usually they start selling them on Tuesday or Wednesday.

You can go to the Stadium and get in line, or to their supporter shop in Downtown Cancun. Same price :)

For these games, its best advised to avoid the seats behind the goals as it can get rough. On the long-sides its way calmer and you get a better view. Also, preferable to NOT wear any of the teams shirts as a "foreigner", trust me.

I dont know of a bar to have drinks at before the game. Its not like back home in Europa where you gather hours prior the game.
We drink at the game, and beers are only 20-25 pesos each :D

If needed, Id be more than happy with helping you guys out when it comes to getting the tickets. Ie: meeting up with you guys and going to the ticket-sales places. I do this fro free(haha) as I like to promote the local game as much as possible :)

Cant help you with the wrestling though, sorry.
