Hi all, we just got home from 10 days at Temptations. I have multiple severe food allergies including eggs, milk, nuts, coconut, avocado, mango, kiwi and many more, in addition I am vegetarian. The resort went above and beyond to try and find ways to feed me safely. I ate very simple foods and pretty much the same thing everyday but I escaped having any major food reactions and did not have to use my epipen.
Louisa at the Sea Flirt for breakfast literally made me a special bowl of oatmeal and berries every morning. At Lunch she was at Amores and made me a special plate of food with rice, beans and veggie fajitas catered to my specific food needs. Sutra was my best option at dinner since they offered spring rolls, miso soup, fried tofu salad, custom made my sushi to my needs and fried rice. It was not the most exciting food every day but it was safe and I didn't lose vacation time to food reactions which was what really mattered to me.
I know several people had responded to my original question about the food options for allergy issues and wanted to just let the people who have these issues know that it was possible!
