Greetings all, Our 4th trip to Temptations and this time are flying the cheapest possible airline, Volaris. Has anyone flown this airline? 2 questions if you have: Are the carry on limitations similar to most airlines or do we need to pay extra to get a roller bag on? How close would their shuttle get us to Temptations? Thank you in advance if you have any information. Sean and Patia
We fly out of SMF too and we are curious to hear how your experience with Volaris goes. When are you going back to TTR?
Don't worry about flying with Volaris, they are pretty much like operating with the Windows platform. They have a colorful airport terminal, friendly flight attendants, easy access to a plane, and an uneventful takeoff. Then, all of a sudden, boom! You crash without any warning whatsoever. Damn Windows! I'm sure you will have a great trip!
I just clicked on this because I thought the flying volaris was a new sex position I hadn't heard of!
We have been flying Volaris for multiple trips a year for years and it's great. We fly domestic on it out of Tijuana and it's fine. It's like the Southwest of mexico. It's light years better than aeromexico and the one other one. It's all 737's. Have no fears flying on it. There is a little trick to booking it, Like them on facebook and make them one of your followed people or whatever. They add pics all the time of discounts that run for a day or so and then when you find the right one jump on it and buy right away. We've flown round trip to cancun for 125pp before.
Love the Sex Position reply Thank you for all that have replied. We have already booked the flight from March 6th - March 13th and are staying at Temptations those days. Our question is about carry on...do we need to pay the extra for our bags as they will be over 15 pounds. We are researching this still, but if you have flown this airline, please give us some tips. They are clearly a low budget airline and nickel and dime everything but your seat Look forward to meeting all that will be there those days ;-) Sean and Patia
You get a checked bag included so you should be ok with carry on. They actually made the luggage better a year or so ago to this new policy. We always used to buy more baggage when getting the tickets (cheap though) but it's not needed anymore.
