    Did you see the cable attached to the top centre of the flying saucer? Near the end I saw it a couple of times. It probably goes to the crane in the background. :roll:

    The video is almost five minutes long. During that time the crane was not moving back and forth in order to make the saucer swing around. Also, the attached cable was loose--not taut--indicating it was not supporting the saucer. In fact, the cable at times hung low enough to dangle almost next to the vehicle. My take is the crane and cable in this case served as a "safety net" in case the saucer lost power and plummeted to the ground. Instead of letting a valuable prototype get smashed to bits (and probably kill the driver), the cable/crane would keep it from completing the gravity test.

    wow! that is awesome!!!

    I agree...I think the crane was a safety device...if you look at 2 minutes and 8 seconds into the video, you can see the slack in the cable really well...
