Just got in from seeing the 4th in this great movie series. Yes, I am aware its barely 7 here on the east coast, but I had to see this one as early as possible. Lets get started If you were paying any attention to the movies previous, this 4th one ties a bit of everything from each of the others in there. There is something in the 3rd one that clearly proves they would use it in this one, and sure enough they did. I wont tell you what that thing is, but I will let you figure that one out by yourself I have to admit, this one wasnt AS gruesome as the movies previous, but an incredible mind f*ck it was lol. Multiple storylines going on at once, crazy games and a great plot makes this a clear cut winner as 2nd best in the series (the original obviously being the best.) Take this as a warning, do NOT leave your seat at all or you will miss a whole hell of a lot. I had a nice 24 oz beer with me and of course i had to break the seal about half way through, lucky my buddy was there to catch me up to speed. Pay attention to EVERYTHING because it will all make sense in the end. CRAZY ending which I personally didnt see coming, but it once again leaves the door open for the 5th and 6th (which they are already signed on for.) If you havent seen the other 3, you can still go see this one and sort of get whats going on, but its apparent this series is proceeding under the impression those who go to see the movie have already seen the others. If you have....go out and see this one, it'll blow your mind, if you havent, take a personal night, rent the other 3, and THEN go see this one. Pure madness. Fletch's Movie Rating: 1/2 8.5 out of 10
oh PS....when i said it wasnt as gruesome, does NOT mean there is no gore in this one....there is quite a bit but i think they focused more on the plot this time around
Thats good to know fletch. I really liked the 1st one. 2 was ok, but it was missing alot of plot and character interaction that made part 1 so good, 3 was all over the place. I liked the fact Danny Glover was in part 1. lol I wish he were still around. They need to put another big name actor in each sequel. I think it helps. I wonder how many they're gonna make.
well they are signed on for up to 6 right now....im sure that will fluctuate with ticket sales with this movie and the next....i hope they go further than 6, that would be great, granted, you can only kill a person so many different ways lol. Hell, one of the previews before the saw movie was for a new RAMBO movie coming out next year starring sly stallone, so anything is possible LOL
