Well, as I cant remember exactly what happened the entire trip, I'll piece it together, and put is as chronological as I possibly can, I believe I did the same thing last year. Anyway here goes: March 6: Arrive in Cancun at scheduled time, and wait in customs for at least 2 hours! It was THAT insane (I'll never fly down on a Saturday again). It would have been longer but we "accidentally" cut the line...woops Get to hotel, mandatory tequila awaits us....shots and beers...unpack a bit and head down to hotel dinner. AMAZING fish tacos, cant beat it. Back to the room, get dressed, about to go to hotel grocery store and who comes out of the elevator....MCLOVIN!!! NICE!! The crew is now in full force Frogs that night, met up and ripped shots with Steve, Seth, Norma, Andrew...basically everyone all night. Not too sure what happened after that. March 7: Woke up, felt pretty decent as we made our way to the pool/pool bar where we met some awesome people. The funniest kid I've ever met, had us nearly peeing our pants all day, and this cougar that for reasons unknown we kept calling MilfC*ck haha. Headed to the Party Zone to glimpse the billboards to see what we have going tonight....WE'VE GOT A SITUATION! Yes, The Situation was at DadyO that night...and did NOTHING lol. He stood on staged, showed his overrated abs a few times, said his catch phrase once, smoked cigarettes and poured tequila into peoples' mouths. I ended up losing Mitch and Chaz and ended up cruising around the club with some random dude, showing him the ins and outs of spring breaking. He was a rookie, so apparently drunken Fletch decided it was up to him to take him under his wing. He did well for himself, I felt like a proud father haha. Again not too sure what happened after the club....or am I? :anon: March 8: Woke up feeling like complete basura but we decided to go to Oasis anyway. I had a sip of a vod/pineapple and damn near threw up, drinking was not in the cards for this day. We hung out on the beach all day with the CC crew, I saw the dude my ex girlfriend left me for, that was awkward, anyway, despite wasting 27 dollars on an oasis wristband I still had an excellent time. There's pictures somewhere. Went back to the room for a nap before heading out. And I woke up with the worst migrane EVER! I'm not kidding, those of you who know me, know that it takes ALOT to keep me out a night, and in my numerous breaks, I've never missed a night...until then I slept all night, took some Excedrin headache medicine and felt like a million bucks the next morning March 9 I do believe we spent the majority of day 4 at the pool bar once again, partying it up with the same awesome people and met a few new friends in the process; One gal who oddly enough lives 20 mins from me, then at night we went to Corona bar, and that was AWESOME! One of the better nights of the trip, met some awesome people including a shot girl who I could pretty much sue for sexual harassment if I wanted to haha but it was good times! March 10 Not too sure what we did during the day lol nighttime was Bulldogs and we had "VIP" passes, which we were promised the world, and given nothing (seems to happen alot) It was still a decent time, wouldn't call it the best, but we made due. Ladies hot body contest was pretty awesome, and the girl I had pegged to win, won. Despite the friends I was with thinking the runner up should have (I'm STILL convinced it was a man, but oh well) March 11 Best day of the trip by far. We went to Frogs for lunch, which actually kind of sucked because of the shotty service we received, but the food was good, and we made our way to the jetskis! Tipped the guy an extra 20 usd for more time out there and we made the best of it. Ripping around in the water, racing, damn near falling off a bunch of times, it was awesome. Highly recommended! Got back a little late, Chaz and Mitch went to dinner, I stayed in to get ready for the CC party. Made my way (in what seemed to be the slowest busride ever) down to Slices where I met up with Steve, Jannett, Dakota and his friend. Hung out there, Norma showed up with Saresh and we had a few beers and headed over to the main event. The pictures don't even begin to tell the tale of the night. It had a little bit of everything, and everyone seemed to have a great time! The masked luchador seemed to be having the time of his life, still trying to figure out who the lucky bastard was behind the mask . Again, cant thank Steve enough for setting everything up, it truly was epic, and CANNOT WAIT to do it all again next year! Met some new people, some old favorites and I have to say I had fun meeting and living it up with ALL of you! Ended up going to Taco Factory with some CC'ers and partied the rest of the night away with them....best night, hands down! March 12 Stayed at the hotel the majority of the day, hanging out with S&C, getting all kinds of wasted at the hotel, they sure do know how to party. They left for a while and we took a brief nap, woke up and the girls came back for dinner. Went to Captain's Cove which was pretty darn good food and then went down to Corona bar once again. Had an excellent time there, drank quite a bit, did some chugging competition with our waiter and then it was time for the sad goodbye March 13 AKA Hell Day! So we get up early to attempt to get to Cancun Intl. early enough so that we have time to do everything we need to before flying home. Success....Until Miami....We're told E7 was our gate, so we get there, check the flight, it's delayed a bit, no biggie. Delayed again, and again and again, and finally it's time to board. Get to the counter and we're told that we've been at the wrong gate the ENTIRE TIME!! So we full on SPRINT to D32 and we're told the cabin door has just been shut and we missed our flight. Maybe a few standby seats will open up. Luckily the flight at E7 had a few extra seats and we were able to board, with our luggage on flight from D32, lovely. Flight goes relatively smoothly for the first half, we're sitting in the emergency exit seats, which, I might do from now on....you know how much leg room you get in those seats? My goodness, it's like first class! Then the trouble begins...we know of the weather in new england ahead of time so we're expecting turbulence. Turbulence would have been nice compared to what we experienced! First off we fly around in circles somewhere over North Carolina for about 45 minutes because of crossing winds in New York providing unsafe landing conditions. Then we head into the eye of the storm! Plane whipping this way and that way, it was literally the scariest moment of my life. I thought...this is it...this is how it ends. But the pilot, to his credit was able to give a big :aktion052: to the storm and got us down on the ground safely. We touch down, and I (amongst others) greet the landing with a standing ovation! Sigh of relief as it's time to go home....or is it? As you may recall our luggage was on the OTHER flight that we were supposed to be on, and their pilot apparently didnt have the cajones to land in the storm so we had to wait, and wait, and wait some more, for another hour and a half until they landed and our luggage arrived...lets go home....OR NOT....rain was so bad in NY it took us another 2.5 to get home, cars were flooded on the side of the street, it was a bad scene. Got to sleep finally around 1:30 pm. And there you have it folks. Guess I remembered a bit more than I thought. Some of the stuff may be out of order, but oh well you get the jist of it. Overall the trip was a great one, not the best to date, but definitely not the worst. Damn, after reading this I want to go back...NOW!!! Guess I'll wait another 354 more days Hope you all had as much fun reading as I had experiencing! See you all next year!! And I mean ALL OF YOU DAMMIT!!! SBG! SBG! SBG!
