a lot to ask from my experience (traveling Caribbean) but does anyone know if TTR can make Clear Chocolate Martini's? Erin's favorite beverage by far (can't lie,I like em too). Vanillla vodka, chocolate vodka and creme de cacao. recent trips we bring our own for room cocktails but wasted weight / space in luggage. anyone now if we can find/ buy in Cancun airport and take with us to TTR? its rae to see us drinking anything before 4-5pm but we do like what we like when we do thanks in advance Chris
They had a few flavored vodkas(was drinking orange vodka all week) but dont remeber seeing any chocolate or vanilla flavored.
I was drinking the vanilla vodka with my diet coke all night - they have the vanilla flavour but I don't think they had chocolate. They had orange, vanilla and apple I believe the week I was there in November. So may want to take your own chocolate or have a look at the liquor store across the street from Walmart.
They have basic liquor at the airport duty free store, and some flavored vodkas - but I doubt they would have chocolate. It is really easy to just bring what you like with you rather than try to find it in Mexico. At the sporting goods store you can find plastic flasks to fill up with vodka etc. and they don't weigh as much as a glass bottle (or break). We did that with Hpnotiq and Fireball on our last trip and it worked out great, as they have never heard of Fireball in Cancun (cinnamon whiskey) and Hpnotiq is hard to find and twice as much to buy in the few liquor stores you can find it. If you have a Sam's Club membership, you can buy larger bottles of booze there your first day (next to Walmart in Cancun) - and that is the best price anywhere.
chocolate martini they definately do chocolate martinis, I drink them sometimes yummy, I have had vanilla, orange and apple vodka there too and some kind of chocolate liquer... the liquer store across from wallmart is called Europa.... it has a fantastic range of wines, sprits and liquers from all over the world at decent prices.I have been told they have a branch on the hotel zone too just past la isla mall.
Personally, I would take NO CHANCES if the drinks are of especial importance to your "good time." It's an easy fix to just take the perfect stuff, and why not?
