We are going on our first trip at the end of January. We have a couple questions. How long is the trip from the airport? What will be the theme nights while we are there? We saw that Friday is the white party. What clubs does the hotel go to on these days? If we arrive before noon at the hotel will we be able to make reservations for the restaurants? Length of trip depends on what method you use. We used USA Transfers which doesnt stop at other hotels. Well worth the extra money. Think if I recall correctly it was $60 or $65 round trip. We also tipped the driver to stop at a convenient store so I could stock up on red bulls and snacks. I think with the stop it was 30-45 mins. So less without it. We arrived before noon in Feb this year on a Wed and could not get a reservation for Wednesday or Thursday but could for Friday. Based on other posts it sounds like it all depends on how busy the resort is but I think we are in the minority re having difficulty with reservations for the first two days. hope that helps.
We traveled through Funjet last year and the shuttle from the airport was included and went non stop to Temptations, took about 20 minutes. If there are any top shelf liquor you are interested, pick that up at the duty free area of the airport. We got 2 bottles of Crown Royal for half the price of what it is in the States. Give any drinks you bring for yourself to the bartender at the sexy pool and they will keep it for you as long as you give them a tip when you present it to them. Thursday nights lingerie party is NOT to be missed, and from other travelers, it looks like the the jury is out yet on the Friday white party. Any other theme nights have been set up by people from this board and are not set up by the resort itself. Arrived about 4 PM so the only option we had was the buffet for night one. The next morning we had no problem setting up reservations for the balance of our stay. Good luck and happy travels!
