My husband and I are looking to go to Temptation the first or second week of April. I've looked at this resort now for at least two years, because it looks like a blast! Fun activities to keep you busy during the day, and a great nightlife that last Til the wee mornings! My husband and I are 33, love to have a great time, but are also nervous because of some of the reviews we've seen. We can party forever, but is this a place for us if we aren't into swinging? It seems like great friendships are formed and its a place everyone wants to go back to. Were so excited for a vacation away, and ready to have a wonderful time!
We are first timers as well. And from everthing we have read on here we believe you guys would fit in perfect just as we will. Would not worry about the swinging thing, if a couple approaches you and you two are not into it just say (not our thing) then have a cold drink and some laughes with them. Its all good!! And if ya wanna get your freak on its all good to. Lol
Hey Jillykin, we're going to be first-timers to Cancun Temptations too while you're there, but I don't think you have anything to worry about being non-swingers (we're not either). One little tidbit of info I've picked up on the boards is that while an orange wristband means you're a cancuncare member, a white wristband means you're into swinging :angel2: It sounds like there's a huge crowd of fun people going in April and I'm sure you'll have a great time!
We are going end of may 4th time trust me if you like to party this is the place.There are swingers here but it is not in your face and if asked just say no not my thing. Be sure to check the themes they are a lot of fun. also try to go on the boob cruise that steve runs.Sign up on this site or you will get the wrong one.Go have fun and you will be hooked
You'll be perfectly fine. Its not a giant orgy, its not a swingers paradise... Imagine a spring break party atmosphere where everybody is just older...
No sweat. Just a great party atmosphere. You may run into a few swingers, a simple "no thanks" is all it takes. Swingers all realize that the first rule is " no means no". But don't be embarrassed if approached, it usually means your a fun loving, hot looking couple. Enjoy the compliment and continue to have fun.
"did you know that cop that pulled you over the other day....pretty nice guy for letting you off with a warning huh?" yeah he is a swinger, but I bet ya didn't know it. "That lady that just paid for your coffee the other morning just cuz she saw you fumbling for the card while your child was crying... pretty nice of her huh? She was in full effect last weekend with that cop at a swingers party."..... Bet she didn't hit on you as she paid for the coffe did she? Do you hug your mom and dad everytime you see them? given them kisses since you were little? maybe even helped them when ever they needed you to? You probably have no idea if your own parents are swingers or not. You can look at TTR in the same manner! These are all just simple examples of the atmosphere at TTR. Are there swingers... yes. Will yoy have a pass made at you... MAYBE??? the thing is, that TTR is all about respect and a good time. You don't have to be into the lifestyle to enjoy a good time. IF you do get hit on all you have to do is simply state you are not in the lifestyle. Simple as that! most people that are though can pretty much pick out who is or is not pretty easily. Don't confuse all drunken nakedness/ body shots for people being swingers... they are just there to relax and have fun like they can't at home!
You guys are going to have the best time ever !!! Our first time was 2 years ago and I was nervous about the trip, but that doesn't last long...this place is so much fun Do not worry about the swinging thing...it is there but not in your face. We were approached a couple of times and just politley replied not our thing and all was well... The best part about TTR is the people and how sexy you are going to feel because nobody judges you !!! We are all there for a good time, and remember " Nobody knows you and Nobody gives a shit " We will be back for our second trip April 17 - 24 and we can't wait
You get used to it. You just have to walk around, through, or over the piles of copulating couples at this resort. Oh, and another thing. IF for some reason you DO NOT get approached by any of these 'swingers'. Please do not let that bother you or take it personally. We didn't. It didn't bother us. We didn't feel left out. Or shunned.
