Just wondering if the repeat offenders can shed some light on the evening /night action... We will be at Temptation for the first time from Feb. 5 - 12 and are wondering if the press on the site is accurate... I would like to lounge by the pool topless... trusting that this is indeed acceptable... We are night owls, so we hope there is lots of partying late at night... the website is ambiguous - it describes all these fab night spots but none of the bars appear to be open past 1 AM? Any info on the theme nights? lingerie night -- I'm in! What else should we know before we come out? Rumour has it that dinner reservations are difficult to get... any tips would be appreciated. We'd like to change it up at least a few of the nights we're there... We appreciate any insight here, and we hope, no, actually we're pretty sure that we'll talk to you at some point if you're there the same week as us... Cheers!! G&D
More than acceptable. It's the norm! The bar on-site, Paty O's, is open late and usually pretty hopping - though I don't know the exact time the bartenders go home. And if you want to go off-site Cancun is full of great night spots. lingerie night is the best! Just go all out - as sexy as you dare. For the guys, some nice boxers are usually sufficient. The other nights are hit or miss. If people are into them, and stay around to dance after the shows, it can be a lot of fun. But sometimes the disco clears out pretty fast. Just depends. They can be hard to get, especially if you're picky about the time slot you want. If so, try to make all your reservations all at once. I think they'll let you reserve several nights in advance. Of course, that can be tricky if you end up wanting to dine with other couples throughout the week, though usually if the add-ons just show up with you at the door, they can usually find a table for you with a few extra seats. Above all else, however, just remember NOBODY KNOWS YOU, AND NOBODY GIVES A SHIT! :xyxthumbs:
We're 3rd times we will be there the 4-10. So looks like we will see you there. look for the odd couple I'm 6'2" and my wife is 4'11" and we will both be topless. We are always looking to meet new people to have a shot with us during the day. Unfortunately we are more morning robins than night owls and usually don't make it much past midnight. Patio's has the best burgers at 11 pm and a small buffet set up prior to that b4. so if you miss dinner no problem just grab a plate there. Usually we hit the tex-mex every night as we are steak and potato kinda of people. Also with her nut allergies we know its safe (we had a incident the first time we were there at the Italian place) Get prepared to have the time of your life. Don't expect a fancy room or top shelf booze. Do count on good fun with Top Shelf people and staff thats the secret of this place and really what its all about. See you in Mexico
The times we have been there Paty O's stayed up till people left. At least untill 4 or 5 in the morning. We've never had much trouble getting reservations although you have to make the effort to get them. And, toppless seems to be more the norm, than the exception!
Matt and Amber, it seems we already have something in common as it looks like we'll both be topless too!!! Thanks to everybody for all the tips... we've been to Hedo a number of times so we're not shy, but it's good to know that the press on the resort is not just that and real people have some real fun there... Will be there from the 6th to the 13th for our second time, and we will both be topless,good to know that other men are not shy either, haha.
