Is it worth the upgrade to the Jacuzzi Room? Right now we are booked for just a regular room...should we spend the extra $500?
Depends how much time that you would spend in it. We were rarely in our room on the last trip and just book the cheapest room since all day we are at the pool and all night out at Patyo's.
I spend very little time in the room. Its a place to sleep and shower and Channel 12 time. I like the first floor by the sexy pool, but think its for premier member(I am one). The view from room is not why I go. I do not like stairs when drinking.
We're only in the room long enough to sleep, shower and...:icon_biggrin:. I've stayed in many Caribbean resort rooms where there was a jacuzzi...we used it to throw our dirty laundry in. Never even thought about filling it with water. There's just too much fun to be had at the Sexy Pool and Paty O's to hang in the room. I'd never pay extra to upgrade.
We had a jacuzzi room once... We used it twice i think... Neither time we actually waited for it to be full enough to use the jets because it took so damn long lol..
mrs. dmlw here: Our first trip to TTR, we booked a suite. It was nice. It had nice size balcony, large sofa for parties, and large 'fun' shower. Lots of places to have 'sexy time'! I think it had jacuzzi tub with shower. I cant recall. I think it did but lots of alcohol was involved. This trip we booked a room with outdoor jacuzzi. Just wonder about privacy, will we wake the neighbors, inadvertantly put on a 'show' and if we may find random people in it at night. LOL! I think it is worth the extra $ just for the experience. And if anyone decides to use our jacuzzi, bring whiskey, preferably Pendelton or Crown.
Like others have said, we're in the room so little I don't know that it's worth paying more. We're hoping to get a room overlooking patios again this trip, that way Ali can make sure she's not the only one in a costume before we go down
jacuzzi? We asked about upgrading at check-in, but it was still a bit too much for these first-timers. (Much like you, we didn't know how much we'd use it). However, we did find (and suggest you do too) friends with a jacuzzi room for the times it rains.
Same thoughts here we have had the Jacuzzi used it once. Just ask for a room away from patty O's and you will be fine most rooms are pretty much the same with a few layout changes.
never thought about just taking over somebody's... Going to have to remember that one... Find somebody we know that has one, and then jump over the wall and use it whenever! lol
