Hi all, My boyfriend and I will be visiting TTR from January 20-25 to celebrate his 25th birthday. We are unbelievably excited and can't wait to meet everybody and for the shenanigans Our question is, since we are using a referral week from a premeir member, do we get all of the perks of being a member? (White wristbands, etc) We have heard about the high pressure sales pitch upon check in, but if we don't buy anything do we still get the member benefits for the 5 days we're there? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance! We are so excited!
Yep, you get all the perks for the week that you're there. You are supposed to sit through the sales pitch, but don't let them talk you into doing it until you want to (ie. on a rainy day when you're not missing sun). Take advantage of getting your restaurant reservations when you check in and unlimited use of the spa facilities!
Usually the person referring you will get a credit toward their next visit of $250 or more. The sales pitches aren't really that bad. Just take the tour and say "sorry, not for us" is easy.
