Heading to GP on 2-9 Aug. Keep hearing different reports. What rooms do we try to get to have a frig and ocean view? Is the shows at night any fun. Traveling with my GF and her daughter and daughters friend. Want to have fun but also relax. Been to TTR twice but first time here and know what to expect from TTR but not from GP. Can anyone help?
Any room above third floor should get you an ocean view. Not sure on a fridge. I think you need to get an upgraded room for that. We've been twice, and haven't done the shows, but people do like them. The early evening entertainment is fun. Karaoke one night, and the outdoor barbecue is fun, and is followed up with some fun games. Expect a relaxing time during the day, and the opportunity for more fun at night.
Thank you, Keep hearing about being bumped to the kids resort and makes me wonder if I should find another place. Hate to get there and one or the other of us can't stay.
There are threads and reports on all 3 resorts. Can't speak for the sens, but the GP is amazing. Just less of a party, usually, then TTR.

Cupid, did you decide on a resort? The GP is a known, oasis is unknown here. Let us know what you decide. If you are going in August you better book soon, lol.
Just got back from a quick 4 nighter...any room away from Paty-O's and on the 3rd floor or higher will come with a view. Jacuzzi rooms are nice, but they don't have an oceanview. Didn't see any kids (thankful for the break), so don't know how your daughter and her friend will fit in. This is a hotel where adults & parents get a break from their every day routine and let loose a little and party. It was kind of like going back to our dating phase. Lots of fun and lots of the porn channel. I think I watched it more than my husband. Going back in October.
they have cut back on the shows as it is off season, but double check. They have activities every night in the 60's bar, and lots of hanging out in the Tiki Bar at night. Get to know the entertainment staff, especially annie, alejandro, carlos. you will have as good a time as you want to have.
