I have been hearing all these terms and I need some clarification on what it all means. Please any help or advice appreciated

    Tower?
    Bash?
Wrist bands ? ( should we get these if we are interested in the lifestyle but not swingers specifically )
    boob cruise ?
premier membership ? What does this mean ? Is the alcohol options and food different if you are a member or not ?
does the resort offer excursion packages still ?
Does the theme nights apply to when you go to the clubs ?

trying to do research so we know what to expect and how to have the most fun !!

    thanks all

Tower - the main structure in the middle of the resort that was added during the renovation. There are 4 types of rooms in the tower (least expensive to most expensive) Bash rooms,, Lush rooms, Master Suites and Penthouses. Other room types (garden view, ocean view, jacuzzi and seduction beach front ) are to the right and left of the tower. While these where not added by the renovation, all of the existing rooms were gutted and redone during the renovation. Tower guests (even if not members or Referrals) do get a few extra perks - the best of which are free access to the roof top pool and bar (including a great lunch menu), free room service (normally $5 per order) and access to sea flirt for a sit down breakfast if you want a change from the buffet.

Bash - the main nightclub just off the lobby of the Tower and is an open air venue. Bash is were the nightly party occurs (which includes a nightly show). Each night has a different theme (the list of themes can be found on the hotel website) and the party goes on late into the night. They also serve late night food - including burgers and other hot and cold food items. And just to confuse matters a bit - many weeks various groups modify or replace the hotel themes with their own. Details can be found here on the forums. And, there is no requirement to dress in theme - so do what you are comfortable with.

Wrist Bands - all guests receive colored wrist bands which also act as keys to your room. The color of your band varies depending on your status (tower guests, premier members, Referrals and all other guests. In addition, various groups may have additional wristbands and there are colored wristbands that indicate your lifestyle preferences. Those optional bands are just that - if you want to be clear about your preferences they are a good idea, but many people are able to communicate their preferences without the need for wrist bands.

Boobs Cruise - run on Mondays and Fridays it is a pretty wild and uninhibited cruise (lots of drinking, toplessness (and even nudity), fun games and sexual activity if you elect to indulge. The Boobs Cruise is run by the owner of this site and there is lots of info on this site as well as numerous threads here in the forums.

Premier Membership - "Premier" is the time share organization affiliated with the hotel. Members receive preferential pricing (in theory at least - lots to be said about this, but not for this thread). Members do get upgraded alcohol and a few (2 or 3 ) additional menu items in the restaurants. There are other perks as well. You will be offered a chance to attend a sales pitch (lasting around 90 minutes) if you have an interest in purchasing a membership.

Excursions - the hotel does have an excursion desk if you are interested. Many people enjoy a day on Isla Mujeres which is a short ferry ride from Cancun. You don't need to purchase an excursion for this - simply walk down the beach to the pier (go right when facing the ocean at the resort). You can purchase tickets for the ferry at the pier. When you get to the island, rent a golf cart and take in all the sites. Lots of threads here in the forum on what to do on the island.

Theme nights when you go to the clubs - as noted above, Bash is the only place at the resort for theme nights. If you are talking about off premises clubs, I do not believe they have theme nights and if they do, they would not be the same as the hotel's theme nights.

I hope that answers all of your questions. Feel free to ask away if I missed anything (either here or via a private message).

Say NO to meeting with the premiere sales pitch.
Total waste of time, they take forever to get to the point of price and benefits. And it is MUCHO expensive. Enjoy your time instead.

Def do not do the time share sales pitch until you have been a few times. That gives you more leverage as to what they are really offering and what value it has to you, and you will have a lot more info to use to negioate a better deal. Keep reading and searching the forums on here for some great advice as to what to bring and what to NOT bring.
