Hi, me and my girlfriend will be going to gp the last week of january for 7 nights. We have never left the country before is there anything we should know before leaving or things to bring other than passports of course. also other than staying at the resort what are some fun things we should do thanks in advance
passport lots of $1 bills (or $5s) depends how you tip cranberry extract (anti oxidant) and take it every meal bring a pen with you to fill out your immigration form on the plane as far as other activities.... check out coco bongo, the city, la isla, and water sports at Aquaworld Check out Selvatica too if you wanna do some all day excursion
Well one thing we were also told is to bring a copy of your passport and leave a copy at home as well- keep the copy in a different spot then your real passports. I do agree with bring lots of $1 bills and I personally wouldn't bring very many bills bigger than $5 or $10 unless you plan on doing alot of shopping for big items. Also do bring comfortable walking shoes if you plan on going to Market 28 or the malls - you will do alot of walking There is alot of stuff to do just depends on what you like to do- I would defiantly go to Isle of Mejures - we have been over there by ferry and rented golf carts then last year we went on a catamaran excursion which took us there for a bit. You will have so much fun
All excellent advice.... Would add that if you take any prescription drugs, be sure to bring copies of the scripts, your doctor can supply you with a listing of the scripts on letterhead that you can use if you need to replace any lost drugs along the way. Jamie
If you are going to use a credit card let your bank know the dates you'll be there If you need a ride to your hotel USA at the bottom of the page is the best way to go After you get your bags do not talk to the time share people in the building outside USA will have a singe with your name on it
i did this couple years ago and it was a terrible idea! i was overcharged on everything and even the ATM was all wrong with the conversion. leave the plastics at home
Don't forget your own large plastic cup/mug for drinks. If you don't use it for mixed drinks you can always have it filled with water. Bubba Kegs work great! They will make any drink you want in your cup!
No, not yet. If it was up to me I would have booked a long time ago! The prices right now are crazy! The flights as of today are through the roof! We plan to go the first week of April and another couple will be joining us. We have also looked in to Punta Cana but I don't like the idea of a non stop flight. The Golden is still #1 on my list!! we'll see!
