Was just wondering what everyones first meeting from someone on this site was. The first time we went to the old bbg, we knew nothing of this site, then we met steve and janet on the booze cruise, and a few more people from cancuncare, so like alot of people, we got home, booked straight away to become repeaters, and started chatting to people who were going the following april, we arrived at bbg, and then i saw her ( wont name names, but she knows who she is :lol: ) sitting on one of the swings on a beautiful cancun day, with the sound of the waves on the beach, i went up to say hi, and her first words to me are printed on my mind :lol: WHO THE F**K ARE YOU :lol: :lol: , needless to say we became great friends, and keep in contact throughout the year across the pond via e-mail and msn, and will be meeting again for the 5th year running this april, with a great bunch of other people who have become great friends.
When we went we knew that a few people from the site were going to be there when we were there. We really haven't stayed in touch with anyone from that trip, but we are in regular contact with many others from this forum. There's a great group of fun people on this site.
We met Joel and Paula on here. Down there Joel recognized the Canadian flag tattoo on my shoulder. We had such a good time that week we organized our flights the next year so that we'd all show up on the same day. *L*
would take an entire page to list all of the great people we have met......many of whom we consider our best friends
People Someone I met down there told me about this website a few years ago, I came home and been a member ever since, Each year I try to keep up with the roll calls and meet up with people down there, first couple trips i met a few accidentally . This past trip however, after quite a few bacardi cokes and few tequilas, I was admiring how a group of girls were going shot for shot and partying like rock stars for two straight days, so i had to go meet them, and wouldnt ya know , they were cancuncare people and we stay in touch on an almost daily basis, We have also got a bunch of others from germany and enland and canada that we met to join us on here, besides the ones from the states and we plan each of our trips together now.
We heard about this site on our first trip and have met many wonderful friends because of it. On our second trip we brought the roll call pics with us as did quite a few others. Was quite comical to see people walking around with several pages of pictures checking to see if they (us too btw) could find people from the site. The rest is history as they say...we now plan our trips to TTR and other places to coincide with the people we have met there (and through here). Just wish we could go more often to see and party with everyone we have met. TTR people are the "BESTEST" in da whole wide world Scott
Havent been there yet, but wandered upon this site looking for info. Been talking to a lot of cool people that will be there with us and look forward to sharing some drinks and good times with them all
many years I came across this site about 6 years ago , I think!!!! got chatting to a few people and arranged to meet up........ every trip I end up meeting more great people from this site , and the amount of people who come up and say hi is amazing, I met STEVE and his lovely wife and daughter, and have been on too many booze cruise and nights out with him over the years I LOST COUNT ... STEVE and this site is the reason I have the best vacations ever and the reason i have met so many nice people from all over the world..AND WHY i COME BACK TO Temptation EVERY VACATION...
We have met many people from CC, but the best was a woman came up to us and knew our names and everything...we had no clue who she was. She had not chatted on CC but had checked out the roll call for who was going to be there and followed some of the conversations and recognized the husbands from our avatars. We had a blast the whole week with them.
Hey Dave, I wondering who that might have been? I think it was that girls birthday that day also if i recall.lol Met the best friends ever that trip. Can't wait on April to get here.
